Brand Activation Manager - Rab

As Rab continues to thrive and grow as a brand, we are looking for a passionate and driven individual to join the brand in a new role as Brand Activation Manager. This individual will take responsibility for the activation of the brand; developing consumer excitement and loyalty through high-quality retail brand engagement, consumer events and experiences.

As a key member of the Rab Team, the Brand Activation Manager will report to the Commercial Director and work closely with the Marketing, Sales and Training teams in the UK. This role is to further inspire the demand for Rab products while building long term customer loyalty. This will be done in two ways: via close cooperation with selected retailers to communicate an elevated brand experience to consumers and directly with consumers at events in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

Primarily focused on the UK market, key responsibilities include:

     Closely follow the brief submitted by the Commercial Director in conjunction with the UK Sales Manager and Head of Marketing

     Implement the shop in shop programme to agreed locations

     Activate strong consumer appeal, engagement and relationships with the Rab brand.

     Help to further build the Rab community, communicating our brand story and values.

     Define, track and report appropriate indicators of success.

     Track, analyse and feedback consumer behaviour to continually develop new, original ideas and opportunities.

     Develop concepts that can be rolled out to other locations and have international relevance.

     Become a key member of the Rab Sales and Marketing Team, developing strong relationships with the Sales and Training Team and working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

     Increase impact and effectiveness at existing consumer events.

General Duties:

     Develop robust business proposals for review on future investment opportunities within brand guidelines.

     Highly creative skills to generate and implement exciting and engaging ideas

     Analytical skills to use data to support both strategic and tactical decisions.

     Ability to lead and implement, ‘hands on’ projects and operations for in-store and link closely with Head of Marketing and the UK Sales Manager/ National Accounts team.

     Ability to work on the shop floor and engage with consumers.

     Manage multiple stakeholder relationships on omni-channel projects – sales, training, customer services, warehouse and marketing.

     Ability to brief overseas markets on successful activities to be replicated in key markets.

     Travel is UK wide and working week to be agreed.


Skills / Experience / Qualifications


     Previous experience rolling out experiential or immersive retail concepts for a premium consumer goods brand.

     Experience working on the retail shop floor.

     Experience and success in inspiring consumer demand for a premium brand.

     Strong project management and organization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of independence.

     Good creative/innovative, idea generation experience.

     Proven ability to build and maintain excellent relationships, both internally and externally.

     Self-driven, results oriented, pragmatic, with a flexible and positive "can do" approach
to challenges and difficulties.

     A strong understanding of consumer behaviour and a proven ability to develop successful strategies from analysing this within the market that Rab operates in.

     Exceptional interpersonal skills.



     Understanding of high quality consumer goods retail market with particular experience in clothing.

     Experience in retail visual merchandising.
